The 2024 Jaguar F-type is the sporty face of the market in 2024, even though it doesn’t compromise on horsepower. Its handling is more than adequate to excite passionate drivers, despite being softer overall than its most formidable rivals, the Chevrolet Corvette or the Porsche 718 Cayman. Sadly, Jaguar has revealed that 2024, the brand’s 75th birthday, will mark the F-type’s final model year. Two special editions, 75 and R 75, will be offered to mark that corporate milestone and farewell the F-type in style. Both will be available as coupes or convertibles, but only the R 75 offers the more potent of the F-type’s powertrains—a supercharged 5.0-liter V-8 with 575 horsepower. All of them will come standard with all-wheel drive, but if you want a rear-wheel drive setup, the base R-Dynamic P450 is still available. The 75 and R 75 variants can be distinguished from the R-Dynamic models by their distinctive 20-inch wheel designs, and an exclusive available Giola Green exterior color.
Jaguar F-Type Engine, Power, Performance & Acceleration
Jaguar has adopted the opposite strategy and currently only offers the F-type with an antiquated supercharged 5.0-liter V-8, while many sports vehicles have switched to reduced turbocharged four- and six-cylinder engines. It has a P450 version that produces 444 horsepower and an R P575 version that produces 575 horsepower. Both variants provide a fantastic auditory experience with lots of pops, snaps, and crackles emanating from the exhaust. During testing, the F-type R completed the identical challenge in 3.5 seconds while the P450 convertible completed a run to 60 mph in 4.0 seconds flat. Although that is speedy, a comparable Corvette or Porsche 718 is faster. The F-type has compelling handling, strong steering, and a generally comfortable ride, but if you want to use it on a racecourse or for spirited backroad excursions, its responses won’t be as quick as those of more extreme sports car competitors.

Every F-type comes equipped with a 10.0-inch touchscreen that runs the InControl Touch Pro infotainment system from the manufacturer. The system comes equipped with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto as standard features. The use of a Wi-Fi hotspot, a premium surround-sound audio system, and wireless phone charging are all options.
