Overview

The new Polestar 5, with it’s bold and cutting edge design and it’s four door hatchback profile. And will come onboard with luxurious cabin with modern technical advancements and fitted with sustainable material choices and likely a dual motor design and a driving range of more than 300 miles is all set to hit production next year and will rival the leaders in the segment like the Tesla Model S, Porsche Taycan, Lucid Air and the Mercedes Benz EQS.

What’s New For 2024 ?

The Polestar 5 will be a new electric car from the Swedish company and will carry many bits of its design from the concept and will potentially rival in the upper mid range EV segment. The new Polestar 5 will be launched in 2024.

The upcoming Polestar 5 will likely come with a dual electric motor design and standard all wheel drive and could deliver a output of around 500 horsepower and could have a 0-60 mph of under 3 seconds and a top speed of around 130 miles. But these are all just speculations and based on it’s current Polestar 2, the official specs could differ while we still await for the official list of the new 5 which would clear out everything.

Battery: Capacity, Range & Charging

As the rumours suggest, the new Polestar 5 would likely offer a battery pack of 100 kWh which would help it to deliver a driving range of 300 miles to compete with the competition. And will likely have DC fast charging capabilities of upto 240 kW and will offer a 11.5 KW home charging solution along with it.

Price

As it is competing with the market leaders, we think it will offer a price of $100,000 to meet the standards of a flagship sports EV. But we’ll update the list when we get the official details of the new upcoming Polestar 5.
