Toyota has joined its lineup with a new SUV, the 2025 Toyota Crown Signia. Acting as a crossover companion to the Crown sedan, it takes over from the Venza as Toyota’s mid-size, two-row offering. The sole powertrain option is a hybrid, delivering 243 hp and coming standard with AWD. It boasts a more lavish interior compared to other Toyota models, featuring high-quality materials and a sophisticated design. The Crown Signia promises increased space and capability, including towing, surpassing its predecessor, the Venza. However, this luxury upgrade is expected to come with a higher price tag, and many premium features are offered as optional extras. Despite its upscale orientation. The Crown Signia will compete in the market alongside mainstream models like the Honda Passport, Hyundai Santa Fe, and Nissan Murano.

Toyota Crown Signia Engine, Power & Performance
The Crown Signia is equipped with an AWD hybrid powertrain. Combining a 2.5L naturally aspirated four-cylinder gasoline engine with three electric motors. This configuration delivers a total of 243 hp, and it comes with a standard continuously variable automatic transmission. While we haven’t had the chance to drive or test the Crown Signia yet. We anticipate its acceleration performance to be comparable to the Crown sedan’s base 236-hp AWD hybrid setup. Which achieved a 0-60 mph time of 7.2 seconds during testing.
Toyota Crown Signia Mileage
Fuel economy estimates for the Crown Signia haven’t been disclosed by Toyota or the EPA yet. However, we anticipate it to approach around 40 mpg in combined driving. Even if the final numbers differ, it’s expected to outshine the nonhybrid options in the mid-size SUV category in terms of fuel efficiency.

Every trim level gets a 12.3-inch touchscreen and a 12.3-inch digital gauge cluster as standard features. The XLE trim includes a six-speaker stereo, but if you opt for the Limited, you’ll enjoy an upgraded 11-speaker stereo tuned by JBL.
