The Single Motor Extended Range version runs on a 268 hp electric motor at the back, producing 253 lb-ft of torque. Volvo estimates it takes about 5.1 seconds to hit 60 mph with this setup. For those craving excitement, there’s the Dual Motor Performance model. With motors on both axles delivering a total of 422 hp and 400 lb-ft of torque. It can reach 60 mph in a quick 3.4 seconds. Both models ride firmly on 19-inch wheels, but the EX30’s chassis feels balanced and nimble on winding roads. A Cross Country variant might join later, offering extra ground clearance and a rugged appearance. Although Volvo hasn’t disclosed all the details, it’s unlikely to include hardcore off-road gear in that package.
