2023 Chrysler 300C Goes Official With 485 HP V8, Starts At $56,595

After a run of over 18 years, the Chrysler 300 has finally come to an end with its limited edition model. The company has unveiled the 2023 Chrysler 300C that roars down to its grave with a 485-hp Hemi V8 engine. Chrysler broke the cover from the limited edition 300C ahead of the Detroit Auto Show. The 300C will be limited to a production of only 2000 examples for the US and 200 extra for Canada.

A 391 cubic inch (6.4-liter) Hemi engine powers the heart of the 2023 300C making 485 hp and 475 lb-ft of torque. The 300C can accelerate from 0-60 mph in 4.3 seconds and a quarter-mile run in 12.4 seconds. The 300 SRT made between 2012 and 2015 came with the same engine with 15 hp less power. The 6.4-liter engine also powered the 392 series, Dodge Challengers, Chargers, Durango, Jeep Wranglers, and Grand Cherokee SRT.

Design:

The 2023 Chrysler 300C features a single variant with rear-wheel drive paired with 8-speed automatic transmission. The front is painted in black chrome accents and black headlights. The rear features black taillight bezels with black rounded exhaust tips. The 300C offers 20-inch wheels available in gloss black, velvet red, or a bright white with red 4-piston Brembo brakes. The 300C comes with a limited slip differential with adaptive dampers.

The 300C comes with a tri-color 300C logo from the 1950s on the front grille. Inside, the interior is all blacked out with black Laguna seats and headrests that feature the tri-color logo. The dashboard and the doors go along with the contrast of the black leather seats. The 2023 300C comes with a standard 19-speaker Harman Kardon sound system with ventilated and heated functionality seats.
