Ridiculous Paint Job on McLaren Artura
The British sports car maker’s electrified supercar The McLaren Artura offers benefits from hybrid technology derived from the legendary P1. This uses a smaller twin-turbo V6 powertrain but thanks to the help of an axial flux e-motor, it can deliver a combined power output of 671 horsepower and 530 lb-ft of torque.
Besides, The McLaren Artura configurator is a powerful thing. Not only are there so many options to go through, but it’s also a stunning piece of technology. The choices are Standard, Performance, TechLux and Vision. Each one changes various aspects of the car, like the cabin surfaces, leather interior and even the gearshift paddles. But it looks like McLaren is celebrating its creations using the Artura as a canvas.
UK-born abstract artist Nat Bowen and collaboration between the brand is this unique and eye-catching design.

Bowen has applied her signature multi-layered resin medium to the example that will be on display at the ME Dubai hotel until March 31.
Using Artura, McLaren explains this platform was a logical choice because the piece represents the themes of ‘Art‘ and ‘Future‘. Inspired by a subject of psychology that pays close attention to colours, commonly referred to as Chromology the splash of colours applied by Bowen isn’t just random.
Market Director of McLaren Automotive Middle East and Africa Mohamed Fawzi says, “We are delighted to have collaborated with Nat Bowen to showcase the all-new McLaren Artura featuring her signature multi-layered artwork in the iconic surroundings of the ME Dubai. The exhibition received phenomenal reception from the attending guests and allowed us to successfully engage with the extremely passionate art community in Dubai and the rest of the Middle East region.”
Also, Nat Bowen adds, “It has been an honour to work with McLaren Automotive on this exciting concept and display it as part of my first solo exhibition in Dubai. My goal was to provide a truly immersive experience and transport the visitors into a meditative state away from everyday distraction, as well as allow them to further explore and develop their relationship with colour“.

McLaren Artura Performance & Top Speed
The Artura hits 62 mph in only 3.0 seconds – just 0.2 seconds slower than the P1. Top speed is limited to 205 mph. The electric motor is quite interesting as it’s comprised of five lithium-ion modules for a total capacity of 7.4 kWh, which aids Arturia’s all-electric range of 19 miles. Thanks to its plug-in capability, the car can be charged to an 80 per cent level in 2.5 hours with a standard EVSE cable.

Retaining coil springs with anti-roll bars and adaptive dampers. A double-wishbone suspension is used at the front axle, but the rear has an all-new multi-link wishbone setup and an electronically locking rear differential, or E-diff.

McLaren Artura is available for order right now with pricing beginning at $225,000. Deliveries are due to begin in the third quarter of this year.
