While the Vantage suffers a great lack of fit and finish issues in its interior and very discourteous wind and road noise that leaks into the cabin at high speeds a great customizable interior choices would come out as a good bargain for some people due to it’s high prices of still being an entry level Aston Martin.

What’s New For 2022 ?

Okay so let’s know what’s new for 2022. The company has introduced a performance track-ready F1 Edition of the Vantage which features a prominent rear wing spoiler and many tweaks such as improved suspension and chassis and more which helps the car retain it’s aerodynamics coupled with some under the hood engine tweaks which all helped increase the power upto to 528 horses, a 25 hp jump from the current 2022 Vantage. Apart from the new F1 Edition in the 2022 lineup, much of the contents feels just the same as the previous year Vantage, except that it offers a new 21 inch wheel designs with the current and also a four new set of cabin designs which the company calls “environments” which can be seen in the other cars in the 2022 line up. Under the hood, the new 2022 Aston Martin Vantage’s clamshell hood lies a good old 4.0 Litre twin-turbocharged V8 engine from the infamous Mercedes Benz AMG division which boasts a power of 503 and 528 horses and producing 645 Nm of torque paired with a seven speed manual or eight speed automatic transmission, take it for a spin and you’ll hear the it’s crushing and thrilling sounds that will rumbles through your ears throughout your drive.

The driving pleasure of this Vantage is just absolutely thrilling especially with the F1 Edition, it just has a lot more feel to it, a lot more grip to the track and on the roads with a good handling control of the car from the driving position it feels lighter. Car also comes with an electronically controlled limited-slip differential and adaptive dampers which are standard in the Vantage. So matter if you hit a bumpy surface your ride will be a lot smoother and a lot more fun. The car also comes with optional carbon ceramic brakes for more track focus enthusiasts, but are too grippy for daily driving usage.

The Aston Martin Vantage Coupe is 4,465 mm in length x 1,942 mm in width and 1,273 mm in height with a wheelbase of 2,704 mm and weighs around 1569 kgs for the Coupe and 1654 kgs for the Roaster.

Fuel Economy & Mileage

Compared to its other V8 competition and it’s siblings, the Vantage performs really well when it comes to the fuel economy. With 19 mpg in city and 24 on highways the Vantage gives out a decent mileage with it’s automatic transmission, but not the same case with the manual, which is 14 mpg in city and 21 mph on highways.

Price

Choosing a perfect Aston Martin is difficult, especially the Vantage as the manual stick gearbox is limited to the coupe version only which comes with the MSRP of $142,000 and the Roadster which comes at $150,000. If you’re into more thrill, more fun and engaging, you can also vouch for the F1 Edition which comes at a price of $162,000 making it a real good deal if you want more from your Aston Martin Vantage. Not to mention it’s amazing choices of customization that the brand offers.
