Fisker Alaska Specifications & Features
Fisker, the California-based electric vehicle startup, is gearing up to release its next model, the 2025 Fisker Alaska Pickup truck. This innovative truck shares its platform with the sleek Ocean SUV but features a slightly elongated body to accommodate a truck bed. Comparable in size to the Ford Maverick or Hyundai Santa Cruz. Alaska offers an all-electric powertrain and a battery with a minimum range of 230 miles. Fisker also intends to offer pricier versions with an extended range of up to 340 miles. Notably, Alaska boasts a practical drop-down mid-gate, allowing for transporting longer cargo when needed. With plans for a potential debut as soon as December 2024. Alaska will contribute to the expanding market of electric pickup trucks.

The Alaska stands as Fisker’s second innovative offering in an ambitious lineup of four new vehicles. Alongside the Ocean SUV and Alaska pickup. The EV company has intentions to unveil a budget-friendly SUV known as Pear, as well as a premier sports car named Rōnin.
Fisker Alaska Motor, Battery, & Range
Fisker hasn’t released powertrain info for Alaska yet, but given that it rides on the same platform as the Ocean SUV, we expect to see front- and all-wheel drive versions with either single or dual motor setups. In the Ocean, the single-motor front-wheel drive model gets a 275 horsepower motor while the dual-motor all-wheel drive ones make up to 564 horsepower. Fisker says Alaska will be able to hit 60 mph in as little as 3.9 seconds. Fisker predicts that the smaller pack, with a 75.0-kWh gross capacity, will provide at least a 230-mile range. The brand quotes the larger pack at 113.0 kWh, and it likely has the same usable capacity of 106.0 kWh as the Ocean’s battery. The maximum range estimate for the larger pack is 340 miles.

The cabin of the two-row version bears a striking resemblance to the Ocean model, yet incorporates several ingenious additions. Notably, the roof features webbed netting for securing smaller items, and the dashboard is adorned with more rugged fabric trim. One of Alaska’s standout features is its drop-down mid-gate. Enabling the transportation of lengthy cargo by extending the cabin into the truck bed. At the heart of the dashboard lies a sizable 17.1-inch touchscreen, which can be rotated for both portrait and landscape views, adapting to various driving situations. This configuration mirrors the Ocean’s infotainment system, and it’s important to note that neither model supports Apple CarPlay or Android Auto integration.

Currently, Fisker has unveiled initial pricing details for Alaska, setting the starting point at an appealing $45,500. The model will probably follow a pattern similar to the Ocean SUV, introducing middle-tier Ultra and Extreme options that enhance both range and features. Positioned at the pinnacle could be a special One edition, encompassing all possible enhancements and options.
