The all new 2024 Ford Mustang Dark Horse gets new wheels setup which is about 37% lighter then the Dark Horse’s aluminum rims. When Ford reveal the 2024 Mustang Dark Horse back in September, they also announce that it would get the carbon fiber wheels from Carbon Revolution. The American Automaker recently posted the pictures of the wheels on their social media.
The single piece five spoke carbon fiber wheels are of 19-inches size. Also they’re the first wheels from Carbon Revolution to get the lug nuts between the spokes, just like the Mustang’s classic 5-spoke design. This is not the first time that Carbon Revolution and Ford have collaborated, they worked together on Mustang Shelby GT350R and the Ford GT.
The Carbon Revolution plays the big role to protect the wheels from the brake heat by applying a ceramic and metal coating inside the front rims. The carbon-fiber wheels go through more than 200 structural and environmental validation tests. The 2024 Mustang Dark Horse is the high performance track ready coupe that will sit above the GT. The Dark Horse gets the powerful 5.0-liters Naturally-Aspirate V8 engine. This V8 engine generates power up to 500 Horsepower (372 kW) and 566 NM of torque (418 Lb-Ft) of torque.
The vehicle is full of high performance features and lot more for optional. Dark Horse comes with a Torsen limited-slip differential, a strut tower brace, upgrade dampers, and larger Brembo brakes. Automaker also added some more visual upgrades to make it look performance vehicle. Some insane upgrades like big rear wing, gloss black grills, rear diffuser and LED headlights.
Last week we got out first look into the Dark Horse’s interior. Just like the exterior Ford design the interior of the vehicle to look high performance which is equally important. They have added the anodized blue titanium shift ball for the six-speed manual transmission. In the 10-speed automatic get anodized silver paddle shifters. Brand have used Bright Indigo Blue stitching on the dash, center console, gear shift boot, and center console. Ford haven’t announce the price of Dark Horse till the date. But it is expected that they will announce very soon as the production will start this summer in United States. The price of the carbon fiber wheels of Dark Horse will be a bit expensive, but they will give high value in terms of performance and safety.
