Overview
Jeep, Ram and Dodge getting a new engine despite the EV shift is an exciting thing. With automakers focusing on the future of electric vehicles, less attention is given to what companies are planning to offer in the meantime.
What’s New?
Stellantis, the parent company of Jeep, Ram and Dodge has thrown some serious money and R&D into the all-new 3.0L Twin-Turbo Inline-Six family of engines called the Hurricane. Less than 24 hrs after the leaks from Jeep’s configurator, the new engine made its official debut. This has been designed to match the output of V8 units and is 15% more efficient than an eight-cylinder.
