Overview
With great handling and powerful V6 engine option, the Kia Stinger shares its powertrain with the Genesis G70 sedan. It has the impressive dynamics and upmarket looks just like the German rivals such as BMW 4-series Gran Coupe and Audi A5 Sportback but it misses out that posh feeling. Stinger seems slightly unstable on high speeds. It comes with two turbocharged engines such as 300 HP 2.5-litre four-cylinder and 368 HP V6 twin-turbo.
What’s new for 2022?
For 2022, Stinder gets optional 10.3-inch infotainment system, larger exhaust system and adjustable ambient lighting. The previous 255 HP 2.0-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine is discontinued.

It is offered with 8.0 or 10.3-inch UVO system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay integrity, in-dash navigation, wireless smartphone charging and 15-speaker Harman/Kardon audio system.
Stinger scored 5-star safety rating according to NHTSA. It gets some safety features such as lane departure warning with lane keep assist, adaptive cruise control and automated emergency braking with pedestrian detection.

Engine, Top Speed, 0-60 mph & Performance
The Kia Stinger is offered in two turbocharged engine configurations such as 2.5-litre turbocharged four-cylinder engine generating 300 HP and 11 pound-feet of peak torque. Another is 3.3-litre twin-turbo V6 engine burns out 368 HP and 376 pound-feet of peak torque. It comes with rear-wheel drive as a standard and all-wheel drivetrain as an optional and mated to 8-speed automatic transmission. The GT variant accelerates 0 to 60 MPH in just 4.6 seconds & have a top speed of 130 mph. Still it loose some confidence on high speeds as compared to rivals.
Fuel efficiency | Mileage
According to EPA, the Kia Stinger with four-cylinder and rear-wheel drive system delivers 22 mpg in city and 32 mpg on highway while with V6 and all-wheel drivetrain it delivers 17 mpg in city and 24 mpg on the highway.
