The Mahindra XUV e9 promises a unique and distinctive design that sets it apart from other electric vehicles in the market. At the front, the electric car will feature a closed grille featuring copper-finished twin-peak logos. The XUV.e9 boasts a full-width LED light bar that extends to the bumper and bumper-mounted headlamps. The rear features sleek LED tail lights, a roof-mounted spoiler, and a diffuser to enhance the car’s aesthetic appeal.

The side profile of the XUV e9 features coupe-like styling flared wheel arches, and alloy wheels with an elegant design. With a length of 4,740 mm, a width of 1,900 mm, and a height of 1,760 mm, the XUV.e9 presents a robust stance. The wheelbase of 2,762 mm makes it slightly longer than the XUV700 making it offer incredible stability.

The Mahindra electric SUV will deliver a compelling electric driving experience. Equipped with a lithium-ion battery with a capacity ranging from 60 kWh to 80 kWh, the electric SUV offers a remarkable range of up to 450 km on a single charge. The XUV.e9 supports fast charging, allowing you to charge from 0 to 80% in just 30 minutes using a 175 kW fast charger provided by the SUV.

Under the hood, the Mahindra XUV.e9 features two electric motors one on each axle and will offer both variants with a rear and all-wheel-drive system. The RWD variant will produce 285 PS of power, while the AWD variant boasts 394 PS of power.

Anticipated Pricing and Launch Date

Mahindra has a reputation for offering its vehicles at highly competitive prices, and the XUV e9 will follow the same. While the exact pricing details are yet to be officially announced, speculations suggest a starting price of around Rs. 50 lakh going up to Rs. 52 lakh ex-showroom. The XUV e9 will compete with electric vehicles like the Tata Harrier EV, Kia EV6, and Hyundai IONIQ 5 in the Indian market.

As for the launch, the Mahindra XUV e9 will hit the Indian market by April 2025.
