Tata Nexon Facelift is one of the best upcoming compact SUVs launching in India. It gets an updated design and a range of enticing features. Sporting a new 10.25-inch touchscreen and a modern two-spoke steering wheel. Under the hood, you’ll find a new 1.2-liter turbo petrol engine and the trusty 1.5-liter diesel, with various transmission options. It retains its power with a 120hp turbo-petrol and a 115hp diesel engine, offering four gearbox choices. The official pricing will be unveiled on September 14, and expectations place it between Rs 8-15 lakh (ex-showroom). The upcoming Tata Nexon EV facelift is creating quite a buzz, with its unveiling scheduled for September 6. It will carry forward two battery options: the 30.2 kWh Medium Range and the 40.5 kWh Long Range. The Medium Range version will churn out 129 bhp with a range of 312 km. While the Long Range version is likely to produce 143 bhp and offer a range of 453 km. Expect to find features like a touch-enabled AC panel, a 10.25-inch digital cluster, JBL sound system, and other enhancements from the Nexon facelift. Safety is also a top priority, likely featuring six standard airbags, a 360-degree camera, a blind view monitor, and front parking sensors. Under the hood, it will offer two engine choices: a 1.0-liter “BoosterJet” motor and a 1.2-liter “DualJet” motor, along with various transmission options including manual, automatic, and AMT. Inside, potential changes might include a new interior theme with different color palettes and upholstery. Both engines from the Fronx, the 1.2-liter naturally aspirated petrol and the 1.0-liter turbo-petrol unit, are likely to make their way to the Toyota version, with the possibility of a CNG variant joining the lineup as well. Engine options are likely to remain largely unchanged, featuring a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol and a 1.5-liter turbo-diesel. Currently, the Mahindra XUV300 is priced between Rs 7.99 lakh and Rs 14.59 lakh (ex-showroom, pan-India). It offers three engine choices, including a 1.2-liter turbo-petrol (110PS/200Nm), a 1.5-liter diesel engine (117PS/300Nm), and a TGDI 1.2-liter turbo-petrol engine (130PS/up to 250Nm). The diesel engine and turbo-petrol also offering a 6-speed AMT option. The XUV300 boasts a host of features, including a 7-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, a single-pane sunroof, cruise control, auto AC, rain-sensing wipers, and connected car technology.
