The new 2022 BMW Z4 comes with two turbocharged engine options, the base variant which packs a 2.0 Litre turbocharged four cylinder engine which makes 255 hp and 231 lb ft of torque and those who want to crave for more power, BMW offers a top spec M40i which packs a 3.0 Litre twin-turbocharged inline six cylinder engine which makes 382 hp and 369 lb ft of torque. Both models come with an eight speed automatic transmission with paddle shifters and many driving modes which is the first time in the history in the making of the Z4 where it’s coming without a manual gearbox and a clutch pedal.
But you don’t have to worry with the confidence, the smooth automatic transmission which will serve you really well and transferring that power to it’s rear wheels and blasts of the car in 3.8 or 5.1 seconds (depending upon the variant you gets) which is really quick, not as a Porsche Boxster, which comes with a manual and much quick acceleration, but nevertheless the Z4 can achieve a top speed of 155 mph with roof up and down while being in 30 mph.
